“You shall have no other gods before Me.”

Gratitude is part of our whole Christian life, this is why we are reformed and why we confess that we have been delivered from our misery by God's grace alone through Christ and not because we have earned anything.

Galatians 5:13: “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”

This is Christian worship, to seek the glory of God above all and to seek our neighbour’s interest above myself. In gratitude, we can by the power of the Holy Spirit live to honour God above all and honour our neighbour’s as ourselves.
