In Nehemiah Chapter 6, the attacks of the enemies of God’s people continued. But now, it was against Nehemiah as the leader of the people. Without a leader, the people would be like scattered sheep without direction. The enemies wanted to discredit Nehemiah’s leadership and his name. But he took his refuge in the Lord and prayed: “Now strengthen my hands.”
