King David expressed in the Psalms that he wrote his responses to the ups and downs in his life. Here in Psalm 6 he expresses his emotional torment and struggle, wanting to be free from it. As he lays out his complaint and anguish he confesses his trust in God stating even as he speaks he knows that God has heard him and accepted his prayer.
