The people immediately started with the building of the walls. God gave them strength, faith, and willingness. There were no objections but only willingness. They trusted in the Lord that His good hand was upon them, and they believed in their calling as His people. Each had their role and their responsibility. Shoulder to shoulder, the people worked. Everyone’s service was required, and the entire community worked. Everyone delivered their contribution. The immensity of the task and the cost involved were not even factors. The Lord will provide. His good hand was upon them after all. Everyone felt the importance of the task. It is about God’s glory. His Holy Name should be honoured.
