God is saying to His church; yes, you are aliens in this World, yes you are persecuted, yes there are terrible things that are happing in this World. However, hold on to your faith. Remember, you are strangers in this World. You still live in this World, but you are not of this World. Once, you were not my people but now you are my people. And you are called to proclaim My excellencies. You are called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the World!
