Judges chapter 4 gives us the historical account of the chapter and chapter 5 gives us the theological account of the events. Chapter 4 is from a human perspective and chapter 5 is from God’s perspective. These two perspectives point us to how we should look at our own lives. We shouldn’t simply look at our lives and review what we did or what happened – we should search out what God was doing at each point.
