The beast you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. The beast is the final and most terrible governance of the Antichrist. The Antichrist is from the same being as the seven kingdoms but also different. The number eight indicates a new beginning, a new Government, but it also will go into destruction. This will be when our Lord Jesus Christ comes again! The Antichrist and the false prophet are thrown alive into the fiery lake that burns with sulphur (Revelation 19:20).
