Jesus warned in Matthew 7:15: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” In Revelation 13:11-18, we meet the False Prophet, representing all the false prophets in history and the Old Testament. He looks like a lamb, and he has prophetic gifts. He deceives and leads the people to worship the first beast out of the sea. His greatest weapon is to deceive the earth’s inhabitants through false religion. Who is the true Messiah? Jesus Christ or the beast out of the sea?
