Why is God not giving us the New Earth and the New Heaven as He has promised, sooner? Why is God waiting? Humanity has seen terrible wars. Jesus answered in our text verse. The Gospel must first be preached to all nations. This is the most important commandment and the task of the church. The gospel must be proclaimed. We do not know when the end will be here. We can only be on guard like Jesus said we should be! The future is in God’s hands!
