The Word of God teaches that faith, repentance, and salvation come from the Lord. We cannot contribute to our salvation and Christ and God’s sovereign grace in Christ is the reason that we are saved. The election of believers is not the reason that people are lost!

People have the responsibility to believe and to repent. If you are saved it is God’s grace, if you are lost, it is your own fault!
