I Am The Good Shepherd

The task of the shepherd in the Bible was to lead the sheep to good pastures with plenty of water. He had to take care of the sick and the wounded. Sometimes he had to protect the sheep from predators such as lions and bears that could threaten the sheep. The shepherd was with his sheep every day, and because of that there was a remarkable relationship between the shepherd and his sheep. The shepherd knows every sheep on his or her name and He lay down His life for His sheep. For everyone?

No, He knows His Sheep and it is for them whom He laid down His life.
